The Los Angeles Angels will be without Shohei Ohtani on the mound for a little while longer. But that doesn’t mean he won’t be able to hit. Speaking toAAvery Yang of MLB.com, manager Mike Scioscia says the following:
baclofen without prescription, acquire lioresal. “Just to make sure this is behind him and he gets the proper workout to test it more instead of rushing in and trying to see where he is on Wednesday. So it’s the best course of action for Shohei and for us.”
Scioscia, of course, is referring to the team’s decision to scratch Ohtani from his scheduled Tuesday start. Instead, they are willing to wait until the weekend. In the meantime, he could get an at-bat or two.
“He’s just not right now ready to go out there and run full speed like you would like to see.”
Scioscia does go on to say that Ohtani will be available to DH against the Baltimore Orioles this week. In the meantime, the Angels are off to a 16-12 start on the season. But, they have lost seven of their previous 10. Will they be able to turn it around this week?
As for Ohtani, he’s slashing .341/.383/.682 with four home runs in 47 plate appearances.
