Hello there, baseball fans! Major League Baseball’s postseason is upon us; know what that means? That means it’s time to predict the winners! That’s right, all of the winners.
So over the course of the day, as part of a four-part series, we’re going to do just that. Who do you think will end up playing for baseball’s biggest prize this season?
National League Championship Series: Chicago Cubs versus Los Angeles Dodgers
For this matchup, let’s just take a quick look. The Cubs and Dodgers went six games a season ago in the NLCS. With the pitching both sides have, not to mention the offensive firepower, we may be in for another very close series.
I expect, however, that Kershaw’s playoff woes will continue and the Cubs will pull it off in seven.
Series Prediction: Cubs 4, Dodgers 3
American League Championship Series: Boston Red Sox versus Cleveland Indians
Cleveland should be able to take care of business against the Red Sox. But the pitching matchup everyone will be watching is a potential Kluber/Sale showdown. Aside from that matchup, the Indians have the superior starting rotation and bullpen. Expect this series to end in six.
Series Prediction: Cleveland 4, Boston 2
World Series: Chicago Cubs vs Cleveland Indians
This is the year for the Land. YES the Cleveland Indians will finally get over the hump and take the World Series against the team that beat them one season ago. It’s going to be every bit as good of a series as a year ago but Cleveland will defeat the Chicago Cubs in 7.
Series Prediction: Cleveland 4, Chicago 3
World Series Winner: The Cleveland Indians
