Saturday night, the Charlotte Hornets (7-8) too the Philadelphia 76ers (11-7) to the limit. In fact, Kemba Walker put up 60 points on 21-of-34 shooting — including 6-of-14 from beyond the arc. 58 of those points would come in regulation. But in the end, it didn’t even matter. In the end, Jimmy Butler (15 points) would break Kemba’s heart.
It starts with this game saving block…but gets much worse.
The game-saving block and the game-winning triple!

It doesn’t get much tougher than that. After dropping their first game with Butler on Wednesday, the Sixers have won their last two. As for Kemba and the Hornets, this is going to sting for a while. After all, he hit 61.2% of his shots. And again, Butler only had 12 points up until the final shot of the night. That’s going to sting.
Up next, the Sixers host the Suns (3-11) on Monday night. We expect their winning ways will continue. As for the Hornets, they’ll go head-to-head against the Boston Celtics Monday night in Charlotte. Talk about adding insult to injury.
But we sure can’t wait to see what Kemba Walker does next. Hopefully in the future, it’ll end in a win.
