LaVar Ball never misses a chance to make himself the center of attention. Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr has already denounced him. But now, San Antonio Spurs head coach, Gregg Popovich, is speaking up. In short, ‘Pop’ isn’t all that amused by LaVar’s antics.
“I think the first thing to look at is the substance and gravitas of the source that speaks. Stopping at that point would tell you you don’t need to listen or go any further. It’s just another fan in the peanut gallery with an opinion, which is meaningless.”
But still, it seems that whenever LaVar speaks, people listen. However, that’s what happens when your son plays for the Lakers. That’s what happens when you make everything about you. But Pop doesn’t stop there. He would also go on to discuss LaVar’s criticism of Lakers coach Luke Walton.
“(Walton is) way more than ready to handle this situation. But it’s a situation that’s gonna take time. It’s a process. And it certainly doesn’t need any outside chatter from people who don’t have a clue and haven’t gotten over themselves.”
We assume LaVar will have plenty to say when this reaches him. After all, why not feud with everybody?
