NBA drama remains undefeated. So, you thought that Kevin Durant & Draymond Green altercation from last night was all about a missed opportunity before overtime? Well, it probably was. But things didn’t simmer down following Golden State’s loss to the Clippers on Monday. In fact, the spat would pour into the locker room after the game. And according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, Draymond put KD on the spot.
How so? Well by challenging his loyalty to the team, of course. After all, Durant’s free agency is looming once again. We know how much he’s looking forward to making “all that money.”
Sources: In midst of verbal exchange on court late in Monday’s game, Draymond Green challenged Kevin Durant about Durant’s impending free agency. As teammates came at Green about his turnover, he responded. This has been a simmering issue for the Warriors today.

To anyone who believes the NBA to be boring, I have a counterargument for you. It may in fact just be the best sport in the entire world. But seriously, this is the most ridiculous thing. And blown out of proportion or not (it almost certainly is), we cannot wait to see how this plays out.
In the meantime, Stephen Curry cannot return from that groin injury soon enough. Unfortunately, he’ll be out tonight as the Warriors battle the Hawks. After Monday’s loss, they’re 11-3 and sitting atop the Western Conference. Durant is averaging 27.4 points, 7.4 rebounds and 6.8 assists across 14 games for Golden State this season. Plus, the Warriors have won both championships since signing Durant while he’s taken home NBA Finals MVP honors in consecutive years. But Draymond is going to Draymond, and we are here for it.
We are here for all of it.
