Currently, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is well on his way to finishing his career as the GOAT. But after that? It sounds like he wants to act. No, seriously.
Tuesday night, Brady and his wife Gisele Bundchen saw the acclaimed musical ‘Hamilton’ in Boston. Wednesday, he would discuss his love for the show — after seeing it for a third time. But more than that, he would actually like to act in the musical.
“Oh, I love ‘Hamilton,’” he told Zack Cox of NESN.com this week. “It’s my third time seeing it. Yeah, it’s a great show. Anyone who’s here should go see it. It was great in New York. It was actually really good (Tuesday) night. I loved it.”
And while he didn’t perform for reporters that day, he didn’t hide his aspirations either.
“I did tell my wife, one day I would love to just be on that show for, I don’t know, a week. But I would need a lot of practice.”
That sounds great, Brady. In the meantime, I would like to play quarterback for the Patriots for, I don’t know, a well. But I too would need a lot of practice.
On the field, Brady and the Patriots are 7-3. They’re currently leading the AFC East (again) but are coming off a crushing loss to the Titans (34-10). Right now, they’re enjoying their bye week. But when they emerge next Sunday, they’ll be taking on the very bad New York Jets. Something tells us they will bounce back.
In the meantime, Brady is having a solid yet not great season under center. He’s completing 65.2% of his passes and averaging 274.8 yards per game, but has just 17 touchdowns to seven interceptions this season. With six games remaining on their schedule, and they’re fourth place in the AFC.
Is it too late for them to go on one of their late-season runs?
