Jordy Nelson still wants to play football, but it won’t be with the Green Bay Packers. And if this team gets their wish, it won’t be with the New England Patriots either.
Instead, reports suggest the Oakland Raiders are trying to finalize a deal with Nelson.

The wideout would spend his first 10 seasons in Green Bay before his release. The Raiders, of course, are coming off a disappointing season (6-10). But they are just one season removed from a 12-4 finish and a playoff appearance.
Nelson can definitely still play, but he’s not a No. 1 option anymore. Fortunately for the Raiders, however, he would take some pressure off of Amari Cooper. It’s only a matter of time.
