The New York Giants are coming off their third win in four games. In fact, they just took down the NFC North-leading Chicago Bears. But that’s where the good news ends for now. Giants safety Landon Collins will miss this Sunday’s game against the Washington Redskins due to a shoulder injury suffered against the Bears, per sources close to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
#Giants S Landon Collins suffered a shoulder injury in Sunday’s overtime win and is out this week, sources say. The team will continue to evaluate this ailment going forward.

Collins, 24, injured his shoulder during the overtime period — one that ultimately ended in a 30-27 win for the G-Men.
In 12 games with the Giants this season, the Pro Bowler has 96 tackles, one forced fumble and four passes defended. Those numbers, other than the tackles, are down across the board. After picking up two interceptions last season, the fourth-year safety has yet to record one. New York (4-9) will turn to Michael Thomas and Sean Chandler in his absence.
Up next, they take on Redskins in the nation’s capital. Under center? Mark Sanchez.
