Seven games into the NFL season, the Los Angeles Rams are 7-0. And while last week against the Denver Broncos wasn’t easy, this weekend would be. After all, as a follow-up to Denver they got to face the San Francisco 49ers. A Jimmy Garoppolo-less Niners, that is. By the end of Sunday’s contest, the score would read 39-10 in favor of the Rams. Jared Goff didn’t have his best day under center, but halfback Todd Gurley put up his third three-touchdown day of the season.
In other words — good luck stopping this team.

Though, Gurley didn’t have to work too hard for those touchdowns. A seven-yard rushing score in the second quarter would give him TD number one. After that, he’d take it in from one yard out for his second score of the game. Finally, with the fourth quarter just underway, Goff found him for an 11-yard score.
And just the like that, the Rams are still unbeaten. Next Sunday, they host the Green Bay Packers. We don’t know which Green Bay is going to show up, of course. But we’re really starting to understand which Rams team will show up on a weekly basis.
And the rest of the league should be terrified.
