Can you believe we’re nearing the halfway mark of the NFL season already? Week 6 was absolutely bonkers with upsets, big-time comebacks, and a crazy back and forth between New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs. Overtime would grace our presence for the sixth straight week, and some teams are looking to be more like contenders than pretenders. But even after the sixth week, anything can still happen!
All in all, Week 6 was cray-cray. But where do we go from here? Well, there are
Let’s take a quick look back, shall we?
The Philadelphia Eagles were teetering after losing to the Vikings the week prior, but a battle against the struggling New York Giants is exactly what the defending champions needed to get their season back on track. Losing RB Jay Ajayi for the year was huge, but Carson Wentz and Co. went to work against the Giants’ secondary and never looked back.
For the Giants, another week brings another subpar performance. A team that boasts Saquon Barkley and Odell Beckham Jr. should not struggle on offense the way this team does, but here we are. A lot of blame and criticism can be placed on Eli Manning, but their defense hasn’t been exactly lights out either.
Overall, with the NFC East being wide open, all four teams can still make a run at the division crown. But it’ll come down to who’s playing the most consistent football come December. Philadelphia, in my opinion, still has the best overall roster between the four teams. And it’ll be up to Wentz to get his team back on track moving forward.
PHI (3-3) def. NYG (1-5), 34-13.
