The former Penn State running back and #2 overall pick by the Giants made waves in his rookie season. But, we have seen how short a career can be for a running back. So this year Barkley will look to take the next step and remain atop the rushing leaders in the NFL.
Saquon Barkley sat down with Taylor Rooks of Bleacher Report to talk about his future in the NFL. Barkley showed supreme levels of confidence, believing he can be the best back to ever play in the NFL.

“I believe that I can be the best running back to ever play the game,” Barkley said, reluctantly but confidently, in Bleacher Report’s revealing ‘Take It There with Taylor Rooks’ interview with Barkley released Wednesday.”
Barkley certainly had one of the best seasons ever by a rookie running back. But, the shelf life for running backs in the NFL can be short. So, Barkley will need to take huge steps in his consistently up the middle. Barkley will also have to put extra emphasis on his body, with injuries being likely for the second year tailback.
Barkley, 22, rushed for 1,307 yards and 11 touchdowns while catching 91 passes for 721 yards and four more touchdowns.
